Boy, it has certainly been a while since I updated my journal....  So where should I begin?  Well, since quitting my job last year, I have been busy looking for work and delving into home-improvment projects.  Sadly, the job market is terrible and the road to finding a job that suits me has been difficult.  I've become quite used to not having $ for groceries , or for much of anything else for all that it matters.  Now? Yes, a change is in the air, and it has been a long time coming. I made a decision back in February that was quite difficult, but necessary.  I put in my notice at work, and gave them three months.  That's right....  After six years of teaching at a preschool, I quit.  I'm tired of changing diapers, coming home with burp-up, snot, urine..  stuff on my clothes.  I'm tired of dealing with rude parents.  tired.  Yup.  Just plain old exhausted.    I stayed at work long enough for them to find a replacement teacher that I could properly train.  It's done.  On May 28th, I'm done with that evil place. Heading to Chicago today to spend the weekend at C2E2!!!  So excited...  Sopposedly this convention will replace the one Wizard always holds.  Wizard World Chicago has been rather lame the past few years.  TTFN!
